Dog ejected from car in Idaho crash found two times afterwards herding sheep

Tilly the pet dog has had a chaotic several days.

At 11:55 a.m. Sunday, Linda Oswald’s spouse and children was driving along Idaho Condition Highway 41 with their puppy in the back again of their GMC Yukon when they collided with another car.

The crash shattered the Yukon’s rear window and flung Tilly by the opening. He survived the ejection unharmed but shocked, and took flight throughout the prairie south of Rathdrum as an alternative of hanging around at the crash.

The story could have finished there, with a confused and missing Tilly roaming North Idaho. But late Tuesday early morning, Tilly returned to the Oswald relatives dwelling unharmed and invested most of the day curled up and asleep on his favored couch.

Who won the Westminster Dog Show in 2021? Breed results, group winners & Best in Show

Wasabi will be adding another trophy to his loaded case.

The Pekingese was named Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on Sunday, beating out reserve winner Bourbon, the whippet. Wasabi has already proved that he’s one of the best show dogs, having been named the American Kennel Club national champion in 2019. Bourbon was the AKC champion in 2020.

What kind of treats will Wasabi be getting for winning Best in Show?

“He can have a filet mignon,” handler and breeder David Fitzpatrick said after Wasabi won Best in Show, “and I’ll have champagne.”

The Westminster Dog Show looked different in 2021 compared to past years. It was the first time since 1920 that it was not held at Madison Square Garden; instead, it was held at the Lyndhurst Estate in Tarrytown, N.Y., about 25 miles north of midtown Manhattan.

Benny and Ebony arrived at Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary in Barrow Gurney after their owner died.

Without any family to take them on, the pair arrived at the sanctuary last month.

Due to their weight the pair had fallen into a bad state, with staff at the sanctuary rushing them both to the vets.

Ebony, 16, who was also blind in one eye, was so heavy at 46 kgs she was unable to get up unassisted and had been spending many of her days splayed out on the floor.

Due to their size, both were also suffering with calluses from bearing the pressure of their weight whilst lying down.

Whoa, the Pekingese is from Pennsylvania! That means the current president AND ruling dog are both from Pennsylvania. This is going to play very well … in Pennsylvania.

It always comes back to the swing states. Can’t escape them. Even when it comes to heavily blow-dried dog shows with mysteriously oversized ribbons.

June 13, 2021, 11:04 p.m. ET

I’m glad the Pekingese won because it proves none of us understood at all what we were watching or talking about. Wasabi has taught us all humility. Arigato, Wasabi!

June 13, 2021, 11:02 p.m. ET

Now we get an interview with the winning trainer. How will Wasabi celebrate? With a filet mignon, his trainer says.
