Phoebe, the elegant Yorkshire Terrier weighs in at a whopping 10 lbs and is approximately 6 to 7 years young. Rescued from the Day Before the Rainbow Rescue and Adoption organization of South Carolina in June of 2018 with an estimated age at that time of 2 or 3 years old. It’s hard to believe this beauty queen of only 2 or 3 would be let go by anyone but her hooman guesses she was a breeder release, found in a South Carolina park not spayed or chipped.

Despite a ruff start, Phoebe is now a healthy, happy, loving pup who always wants to be beside her momma. She loves testing the squeakers out in the squeakiest of stuffed toys and loves playing fetch with her favorite tiny squeaky ball. Phoebe never turns down a walk, going as many times as her mom will take her!

Little Phoebe’s favorite pastime and unofficial assignment in the household is sitting on the back of the couch, looking out the window, and “patrolling”. She finds it necessary to bark at the mail truck, UPS and FED EX, Amazon, and well just about anyone who dares walk too close to her house.

On her off time, Phoebe loves to take a break and enjoy a bully stick or bully ring from Pawstruck! She looks forward to her chew time every evening. It was dark days when she had to reluctantly (and thankfully temporarily) halt her chew time due to her dental surgery; but she’s back to enjoying her favorite… Bullies!

The Pawstruck Pack wanted to show our gratitude to Phoebe and her family, so we commissioned a digital painting of her that really shows the queen in her!

Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
