Animal rescue proprietor arrested once more, this time adhering to sale, demise of underage kitten | Connecticut News

SOUTHINGTON, CT (WFSB) – The death of a not long ago-adopted kitten led to yet another arrest for an animal rescue proprietor.

Abigale Jones, 31, of Bristol, was charged with sale of an underage kitten and 2nd-degree violation of ailments of release.

Police in Southington claimed they released an investigation on Aug. 2.

A complaint noted that the kitten was adopted in July from the Tenderheart Rescue in Bristol. It was fostered in a property in Southington.

The girl who filed the grievance accused Jones, the owner of Tenderheart Rescue, of not becoming truthful about the kitten’s overall health or age ahead of the adoption.

She said Jones had the kitten’s age as currently being 8 weeks old and “prepared to go.”

Veterinarian paperwork, having said that, confirmed the kitten to be nearer to 6 months old at the time.
