Pet poking by way of blankets is amongst the Pet Photographer of the Year awards

A photogenic chicken and a travel-weary doggy are among the the successful snaps of the Global Pet Photographer of the Calendar year Awards.

In a person graphic, British photographer Jackie Eke captured a black rooster stood proudly on a wooden podium.

In an additional impression by British photographer Bridget Davey, a compact pet could be viewed towering over the camera.

The Intercontinental Pet Photographer of the Year Awards are offered by the Pet Photographers Club and are an once-a-year celebration of the artistry and talent that goes into pet pictures.

The level of competition comprises 4 classes and two practical experience ranges – expert and emerging.

The judges involved British artist Alice Loder, Uk based photographer Cat Race, Australian photographer Caitlin J. McColl, Sara Glawe and Craig Turner-Bullock.

‘It’s been so fantastic to see the pet images business rising and thriving, significantly about the previous ten years,’ said the organisers.
