Shelter caring for 20 horses, other animals

SPRINGVALE, Maine — Twenty horses seized from a farm on Deering Neighborhood Highway are now getting the treatment they need to have, according to the point out.

Horses and animals recently seized in Sanford, Maine, were surrendered to the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry's Animal Welfare Program.
