A couple weeks ago, Dallas Pets Alive! along with 10 local non-profit organizations and our corporate sponsor, CUDDLY, collaborated with a goal of distributing 30,000 pounds of pet food, supplies and other services to those in need. CUDDLY’s inaugural community event, Dallas Pets Are Family, brought together local organizations for a day of lifesaving impact. The event, held June 4th, not only met, but exceeded our goals, and plans are already underway for the next event – much to the relief and excitement of clients and community members.

Retired support dog crushed, stabbed and burned proprietor would like the local community to be aware | Jefferson County

WATERTOWN — Iajah Hughes is making an attempt to make perception of why his border collie — a retired support pet that helped him and other folks cope with loss and stress — was a short while ago crushed, stabbed and maimed.

Bennington Pet dog Park, a ‘community treasure,’ opens | Community News

BENNINGTON — With thanks to those people responsible and the simultaneous cutting of a blue ribbon by a dozen or so pairs of scissors, the new Bennington Doggy Park at Willow Park was declared open up on Saturday.

The park is “our community treasure, and a single that we and our canine companions will love for years to come,” claimed Susan Armstrong, one of the project’s a few founders, in quick remarks prior to the ribbon-slicing. 

Development of the park was funded by way of $25,000 in personal donations.
